Story of Amazonite
Some say Amazonite got It's name from the Amazon River. It was believed that the stone came from the river Itself but that Is not the case. While It Is mined In Brazil It was never actually been found near the river. Others say Its name came from the Amazon women warriors as It Is called the stone of courage.
